Head coach Sean McVay confirmed Tuesday that wide receiver Puka Nacua will take part fully in the Rams’ offseason program after a brief rehab stint. Nacua attended the first day of OTAs on Monday, looking healthy and energetic. His presence bolsters a receiving corps rebuilding after last season's injuries. The player faces a civil suit alleging an antisemitic comment and a bite, which he denies.

McVay said he will keep discussions with Nacua private, adding the two share a strong rapport and are aligned on the team’s direction. At last month’s league meetings he noted the organization is still gathering facts and expressed trust in the youngster’s character. Nacua’s lawyer, Levi McCathern, supplied video that he says contradicts the plaintiff’s narrative.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford also reported for OTAs, while general manager Les Snead indicated progress on a restructured deal as Stafford approaches the final year of his current contract. Snead assured fans there is no expected drama surrounding the negotiations. With key pieces cleared for practice, the Rams enter preseason poised to solidify roster roles and evaluate depth at the position.
