Tyler Herro said he wants to "move on" from his physical altercation with former teammate Bam Adebayo last week in Las Vegas and is "focused on the next chapter in Milwaukee." "Honestly, I'm just trying to move past all of it," Herro told ESPN. "I'm focused on Milwaukee Bucks and building something special."

The incident occurred July 10 at the Resorts World Hotel when Adebayo confronted Herro about social media comments critiquing the center's $60 million salary. Sources say Adebayo struck Herro near the chin, though Herro was not knocked down and was restrained from responding. The comments appeared to reference Adebayo's postseason remarks about needing more help from his supporting cast.

Herro, a Milwaukee native, was traded to the Bucks as part of a blockbuster deal for Giannis Antetokounmpo. He earned Sixth Man of the Year in 2022 and All-Star honors in 2024-25 with Miami. "I'm ready to come home and not prove everyone wrong, but just be able to represent the city and the state," he said.

Heat sources described a mostly good seven-year relationship that frayed over the past year as Herro played just 33 games due to injuries and struggled to adjust to a new offensive scheme that de-emphasized pick-and-rolls.
