Main Street Sports Group has informed NBA and NHL teams it will cease operations at the end of their respective seasons, ending its run as FanDuel Sports Network. The struggling regional sports network began 2026 with 29 teams across three leagues but has now lost all nine MLB teams and will soon lose 13 NBA and seven NHL franchises.

Once known as Diamond Sports Group, Main Street took on nearly $9 billion in debt to acquire 21 regional channels from Fox before filing for bankruptcy in March 2023. After emerging from bankruptcy in January 2025 with a new naming rights deal and commercial agreement with Amazon, the company's financial troubles persisted. A potential sale to streaming platform DAZN fell through, and missed payments to teams like the St. Louis Cardinals prompted all MLB teams to shed their contracts.

NBA and NHL teams have not been paid their rights fees this year and are expected to be reimbursed for some lost payments. Main Street currently holds local rights for 13 NBA teams including the Miami Heat and LA Clippers, plus seven NHL teams such as the Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues. The network's collapse leaves these franchises scrambling to secure new local media deals.
