The San Francisco Giants are suspending payment to outfielder Harrison Bader after he aggravated a left foot injury during a scooter accident last weekend. Bader has been sidelined since late May dealing with plantar fasciitis.

Giants president of baseball operations Buster Posey stated the accident delayed Bader's treatment timeline and return to the field. The team will suspend payment until Bader is able to resume performing services for the club. The collision occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday in San Francisco's Marina District.

Bader signed a two-year, $20.5 million contract before this season. He was batting.170 with five homers in 30 games prior to being placed on the injured list. This follows a previous 2014 incident at the University of Florida involving a motorized scooter.
