ESPN has become the new home for MLB.TV, marking a major shift in sports streaming partnerships. This season, MLB.TV will be available through the ESPN App, expanding the platform's multisport offerings and giving fans a new way to access out-of-market games. The move represents one of sports media's longest-standing partnerships evolving into a more integrated streaming experience.

MLB.TV subscribers gain access to live out-of-market regular-season games, both home and away feeds, plus live MLB Network access within the U.S. The service includes on-demand and archived games, plus MLB Big Inning highlights. Seasonal plans start at $134.99 for current ESPN Unlimited subscribers, with the streaming package available on web, iOS, Android, smart TVs, and gaming consoles. Monthly subscribers will have MLB Network access through October.

Existing MLB.TV subscribers can link their accounts to watch through ESPN by connecting their MLB and MyDisney accounts. The transition maintains blackout restrictions for some games while offering flexibility across devices. Club.TV local-market streaming will continue through MLB platforms during the 2026 season as the league works to transition these experiences to ESPN. This partnership fundamentally changes how baseball fans access out-of-market games.
