The Wyndham Championship, the final PGA Tour regular-season event, is underway, determining who will crack the top 70 in the FedEx Cup standings and advance to the playoffs. Rookie sensation Jackson Koivun is among those on the bubble, aiming to secure his spot in the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Other notable players battling to stay in contention include Aldrich Potgieter (65th), Keegan Bradley (72nd), Johnny Keefer (74th), and Jason Day (75th).

Potgieter, despite leading in driving distance, needs to improve his overall game. Koivun, a rising star, finds himself in a precarious 70th position in his fifth tour start. Bradley, an eight-time winner, needs a strong finish to extend his streak of making the playoffs since 2011. Keefer, a former Korn Ferry Tour standout, requires a 15th-place finish or better. Day, hampered by a back injury, faces a tough challenge to maintain his impressive streak of 19 consecutive playoff appearances.

Further down the standings, Brooks Koepka (86th) and Tony Finau (89th) face significant hurdles. Koepka, in his first season back on tour, needs a solo fourth-place finish or better, a difficult task given his season performance. Finau, who has never missed the playoffs since joining the tour in 2014, must secure a tie for third to continue his season.
