Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell each scored 34 points as the Indiana Fever defeated the Connecticut Sun 111-91 on Friday. The duo's 68-point total marked their fourth 30-plus point game this season, extending their WNBA single-season record for a teammate pair. It was also the first time in WNBA history the same teammates scored at least 30 in consecutive games.

Clark and Mitchell contributed to 92 of Indiana's 111 points through scoring or assists, the third-highest such total in WNBA history per Elias Sports Bureau. They previously set the record with 98 combined points against the Chicago Sky. Fever coach Stephanie White praised the duo, comparing their explosiveness to Diana Taurasi and Cappie Pondexter's backcourt with the Phoenix Mercury in 2007 and 2009.

Clark added 12 assists, her fifth double-double of the season with 30+ points and 10+ assists. Mitchell extended her streak to 24 straight 20-point games before the FIBA break. Indiana improved to 7-2 with Aliyah Boston scoring 14 points as the team heads to Berlin for the FIBA Women's World Cup.

Clark said she feels 'probably the best I've ever felt in my career' after overcoming early-season confidence and injury struggles. Diamond Miller led Connecticut with 19 points, and Nell Angloma added 17. Mitchell recorded her 911th career assist during the game, moving past Briann January into second on Indiana's all-time list.
