Kelsey Mitchell scored 16 points in the first quarter and finished with 29 before sitting out the fourth, while Caitlin Clark added 24 points as the Indiana Fever beat the Toronto Tempo 101-95 on Tuesday for their fifth straight victory.

Mitchell and Clark have each scored 20 or more in the same game 16 times this season, a new WNBA record. Diana Taurasi and Cappie Pondexter previously held the mark with 15 such games in 2008.

Mitchell also extended her streak of scoring 20 or more points to 20 consecutive games, matching A'ja Wilson for the longest such streak in WNBA history. However, she left the game after scoring eight points late in the third quarter and did not return, with coach Stephanie White attributing the departure to overheating in the steamy Scotiabank Arena.

Indiana has now won 10 of its last 12 games and boasts 16 100-point games this season, five more than any other team in WNBA history. Aliyah Boston contributed 16 points and Sophie Cunningham added 13 for the Fever, who never trailed despite a late push from Toronto's Marina Mabrey, who finished with 22 points.
