The Las Vegas Aces celebrated their third consecutive championship with a flashy ring ceremony at T-Mobile Arena, but A'ja Wilson made clear she'd already moved on to the next goal. The four-time MVP, now 29 and in her prime, is focused on turning the Aces into the most successful franchise in WNBA history. They currently trail the Minnesota Lynx, Seattle Storm and Houston Comets, who each have four titles.

The Aces opened the 2026 season with a shocking 99-66 loss to the Phoenix Mercury, but that defeat might serve as motivation. They've won two games since and head to Connecticut and Atlanta this weekend. Coach Becky Hammon says the team is still in "teaching mode" integrating newcomers, particularly guard Chennedy Carter, who is averaging 19.7 points on 73% shooting.

The core trio that won all three titles remains intact: Wilson (20.0 PPG), Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray. Gray, who has four championships, smiled when asked about her goals, pointing to Rebekkah Brunson's five titles. "When you have a group that's been together a long time, you try to reach for new heights," Gray said. The Aces host their championship banner ceremony at Michelob Ultra Arena on May 23.
