Darius Acuff Jr. has landed a signature shoe with Reebok, becoming the first NCAA men's athlete to secure one with a major U.S. brand while still in college, according to Reebok's head of basketball, Jide Osifeso. The 19-year-old Arkansas freshman, ranked No. 8 on ESPN's Big Board for the 2026 NBA draft, is the SEC Player of the Year. Acuff led the conference in points and assists per game for the first time since Pete Maravich in 1969-70, guiding Arkansas to the SEC tournament title and the Sweet 16.

His 60 points in the SEC tournament tournament set a new record for an SEC player in their first two NCAA tournament games, surpassing Kentucky's Pat Riley (58). Acuff also became the second player in 50 years to average 30 points and five assists in their first two NCAA tournament games, joining Billy Donovan. For Reebok, Acuff is the first men's basketball player to have a signature shoe since John Wall.
