The White Sox recalled catcher Edgar Quero from Triple-A after placing Joey Bart on the 10-day IL with a fractured finger, the latest catching injury for Chicago. The struggling Twins placed ace Joe Ryan on the 15-day IL with a left glute strain, a significant blow to their rotation. The Mariners saw reliever Gabe Speier suspended three games and manager Dan Wilson one after Speier hit Detroit's Gleyber Torres with a pitch in the eighth inning Wednesday.
