Paris‑based AI‑agent platform Dust closed a $40 million strategic Series B round, taking total capital raised above $60 million. The round was co‑led by VC heavyweight Sequoia and Abstract, with cloud players Datadog and Snowflake joining. Founded in 2022 by Stripe alumni Gabriel Hubert and former OpenAI engineer Stanislas Polu, Dust offers a collaborative workspace where teams can create and deploy shared AI agents.

Dust now serves roughly 3,000 organisations, hosting about 300,000 agents across its platform. European clients such as neobank Qonto, insurtech Alan and fintech Pennylane sit alongside UK health‑tech Causaly and billing service Paddle, while US customers include Datadog and password manager 1Password. The company significantly recently topped $20 million in annual recurring revenue, up from €1 million two years earlier.

The fresh capital will rapidly fuel Dust’s R&D push and accelerate its US expansion, where the firm already runs full‑scale deployments rather than pilots. Hubert stresses that profitability is a secondary goal; the raise is about scaling before rivals claim the enterprise AI crown in America. With its collaborative‑agent model, Dust positions itself as a direct alternative to single‑player AI tools.
