TransDigm Acquires Prince & Izant for $1.066B

TransDigm Group Incorporated has agreed to acquire Prince & Izant, which is backed by Industrial Growth Partners, for about $1.066 billion. Headquartered in Cleveland, Prince & Izant is a manufacturer of brazing alloys and specialty metal components.

TransDigm is a provider of highly engineered aircraft components for use on nearly all commercial and military aircraft in service today. P&I primarily supports the aerospace and defense, aeroderivative turbine, and transportation end markets.

P&I is expected to generate approximately $360 million in revenue for the calendar year ending December 31, 2026. On the deal, Mike Lisman, TransDigm's CEO, said in a statement, "We are excited to have an agreement to acquire Prince & Izant. The company offers highly engineered, custom, proprietary products and provides excellent service to its customers – attributes that align well with TransDigm's acquisition criteria."
