PE-backed Tech24 has acquired Pacific Standard Service, a commercial cooking equipment specialist based in Albany, California. The acquisition expands Tech24's footprint across multiple states including California, Kentucky, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, and Georgia. Tech24, backed by Vestar Capital Partners and HCI Equity Partners, provides commercial foodservice equipment repair and maintenance services nationwide.

Pacific Standard Service brings deep hot-side expertise and a strong technician base to Tech24's portfolio. The company serves national restaurant, convenience, grocery, education, healthcare, and theater chains across its operating regions. This strategic move strengthens Tech24's presence in key markets where PSS already maintains established relationships with major commercial clients.

Tech24 CEO Cary Reed emphasized the acquisition's strategic value, noting PSS's national account relationships and technical capabilities. General Manager Angie Hager-Grant and operations manager Frank Soto will continue leading day-to-day operations under the Tech24 umbrella. The deal represents another step in Tech24's growth strategy to consolidate the fragmented commercial foodservice repair market.
