Registrar Corp, the Hampton, Virginia firm that delivers regulatory compliance software to more than 35,000 clients across 180 countries, announced the acquisition of Canadian consulting boutique Dell Tech. The deal adds a North‑American advisory layer to Registrar’s technology platform, extending its reach in food, beverage, medical‑device, cosmetic and drug sectors. Dell Tech’s president, Jennifer Grant, will join the combined leadership team clearly.

Paine Schwartz Partners, the private‑equity sponsor behind Registrar, did not disclose the purchase price, underscoring the strategic nature of the transaction rather than financial metrics. By folding Dell Tech’s regulatory expertise into its existing suite, Registrar aims to deepen client engagements and cross‑sell services, a move that could boost recurring revenue streams as compliance demands intensify globally.

The combined entity now serves a broader set of regulated manufacturers, positioning itself as a one‑stop shop for both software automation and consulting insight. Investors will watch how the integration impacts Registrar’s margin profile, given the low‑cost, high‑margin nature of SaaS combined with higher‑touch consulting fees. The acquisition significantly expands the firm’s footprint into Canada without diluting its core U.S. operations.
