Littlejohn & Co has appointed Shant Mardirossian as managing director, chief operating officer, and head of strategic initiatives in a newly created role. Mardirossian joins from Kohlberg, where he spent nearly 30 years as partner and chief operating officer. Based in Greenwich, Connecticut, Littlejohn was founded in 1996 and specializes in private equity investments.

In his expanded role, Mardirossian will work closely with managing partners across finance, legal & compliance, operations, and investor relations teams.
