Algebris Investments has acquired 100 percent of Vector Renewables from Nadara through its private equity fund, Algebris Green Transition Fund. It is the fund’s first international acquisition. Vector is headquartered in Madrid and has been operating since 2005. It supports clients across the whole lifecycle of solar, wind, storage and hybrid projects, has operations in Europe, Asia and Latin America, and has experience in more than 60 countries.

The company has supported more than 275GW of projects as a technical adviser and more than 30GW through its legal advisory services. It currently has over 6GW of assets under management. Vector also runs NUO, its own cloud-based platform for managing renewable energy assets. Algebris will support Vector’s management team as the company pursues its next phase of global growth.

"As a standalone company, Vector is now uniquely positioned to offer independent support to clients worldwide," said Matteo Tarchi, senior partner of Algebris Green Transition Fund, in a statement. "We see clear potential to enhance the group’s capabilities, broaden its specialised offering and accelerate its expansion across both existing and new markets," said Francesco Becchelli, senior partner of Algebris Green Transition Fund, in the statement.

Algebris manages approximately €36 billion in assets. Nadara, the seller, is an independent power producer operating in Europe and the US.
