AI voice startup ElevenLabs has doubled its valuation to $22bn just months after raising $500m at an $11bn valuation, following a $300m employee tender offer. The company, co-founded by Piotr Krzysztof Kozak and Michele L. M., has seen rapid growth driven by demand for its AI voice synthesis technology.

The tender offer allowed employees to sell shares, boosting the company's valuation significantly. ElevenLabs has expanded its customer base across industries, including media, gaming, and customer service, and has raised substantial funding from investors like Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

The company's revenue has grown rapidly, with projections showing a 60% increase in 2024 and a 16% rise in the following year. ElevenLabs plans to use the new capital to expand its AI voice platform and enter new markets, including Asia and Europe.

Despite competition from other AI voice startups, ElevenLabs maintains a strong market position, with a 44% share of the AI voice market. The company is headquartered in London and has offices in New York and Warsaw.
