ArcLight Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of a 50 percent stake in IATP, a 5.4-gigawatt portfolio of 11 power infrastructure assets located across North America, for undisclosed terms. Invenergy retains its existing 50 percent ownership interest and its operational role in the portfolio.

IATP combines a substantial base of contracted revenue with near-term recontracting opportunities and potential expansion projects. ArcLight says this positions the portfolio to serve growing electricity demand from AI, data centers and the broader electrification of the economy.

The portfolio’s combined-cycle facilities include Grays Harbor Energy Center in Washington, Nelson Energy Center in Illinois, Lackawanna Energy Center in Pennsylvania and St. Clair Energy Centre in Ontario.

Boston-based ArcLight has owned, controlled or operated more than 70 gigawatts of assets since 2001. ArcLight acquired the stake with Morgan Stanley acting as its financial adviser.
