Energy Capital closed its sixth flagship fund at $8.1bn, more than 50% above target, in just 18 months. Chief investment officer Tyler Reeder said the firm's digital power infrastructure focus played a "very big role" in the oversubscription. Agallas Equities is planning a $5bn inaugural infrastructure fund targeting major projects in the Dominican Republic and surrounding Caribbean region. The fund has already garnered early interest from Gulf state family offices.
