Apple has released the fourth beta of macOS Golden Gate to developers, two weeks after the previous beta. Developers can access it via System Settings > General > Software Update, requiring beta updates to be enabled and a free developer account.

macOS Golden Gate introduces significant design enhancements, including improved Liquid Glass opacity and transparency control, clearer active window indicators, uniform app toolbars, edge-to-edge sidebars, and reduced menu bar icons. The update also transforms Siri into Siri AI, a chatbot-style assistant integrated with Spotlight, capable of leveraging general knowledge, personal data, and onscreen awareness. A dedicated Siri app allows for chat history review, and newer Macs support custom Siri voices.

Further AI-driven features include Visual Intelligence for onscreen analysis, a "Write with Siri" function for text generation and feedback, AI photo editing in the Photos app, AI tab organization in Safari, automatic weak password updates in Passwords, and a revamped Image Playground app for generating photorealistic images. More details on these features are available in the macOS Golden Gate roundup.
