Apple is preparing new iMac models with an upgraded M6 chip and fresh color options, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. The updated 24-inch model will replace the current M4 version launched in October 2024. New hues are expected, though specific shades have not been revealed.

The current lineup features seven colors: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. No major design overhaul is anticipated. Apple remains several years away from releasing an OLED iMac model. "All signs point to the M6 models being close to launch," Gurman stated, with new units expected before year's end.
