Apple's latest product launch saw the company discontinue 15 devices while introducing 10 new models, marking one of its most significant lineup changes in recent years. The discontinued products span from 2019's Pro Display XDR to recent MacBook Pro configurations, making way for updated models featuring the latest M4, M5, and A18 Pro chips.

Among the retired products are multiple MacBook Pro variants including the 13-inch model with M4 Pro, 15-inch models with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips, and the Mac Studio with M3 Max. Apple also discontinued its Studio Display with A13 Bionic, Pro Display XDR, and related accessories like the Pro Stand and VESA Mount Adapter. The iPhone 16e with A18 chip and several iPad Air models with M3 processors were also removed from the lineup.

With all newly announced devices now available for pre-order, Apple's refresh strategy signals a push toward more unified chip architecture across its product line. The MacBook Neo, powered by the A18 Pro chip, represents a new entry point at $599, while high-end models feature the M5 Pro and M5 Max processors. Third-party retailers are already offering substantial discounts on discontinued models as inventory clears.
