Apple today seeded an updated version of the watchOS 27.2 release candidate, four days after the first RC became available. Registered developers and public beta testers can download the software through the Apple Watch Settings app or using the Apple Watch app on iPhone. This update provides enhancements to Siri AI, including the ability to retain useful context from previous interactions, draw from a wider range of personal context, and deliver faster responses on your watch.
Key features include Siri AI recalling past conversations, such as restaurant recommendations, and drawing from sources like Messages photos, Calendar attendees, voicemails, and Safari history. A new Excluded Apps setting allows privacy control over which apps Siri and suggestions can access, all from one setting on iPhone. Siri AI is now available in more languages, with support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish, though it is not available in the EU or mainland China. The update also includes other features, bug fixes, and security updates for the Apple Watch.
The full launch of watchOS 27.2 is expected next week.
