vivo has quietly introduced the V60 Lite in Panama, marking the debut of Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor. This mid-range device originally launched in September 2025 but now features the upgraded chipset, replacing the previous Snapdragon 685. The phone maintains its 6.77-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 90W wired charging.

The V60 Lite retains its 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens, plus a 32MP selfie camera. A substantial 6,500mAh battery supports both 90W wired charging and 6W reverse wired charging. The device runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and includes IP65 ingress protection. Available in black and blue, pricing details remain undisclosed.

This launch positions vivo as the first manufacturer to adopt Qualcomm's latest 4G-focused chipset. The Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 represents a modest upgrade over its predecessor, likely offering improved efficiency and performance. The V60 Lite's combination of a large battery, fast charging, and modern display specifications makes it competitive in the mid-range segment, though its 4G-only connectivity may limit appeal in markets transitioning to 5G.
