Samsung is cutting prices on its Galaxy S26 series as the company prepares to shift focus to foldable devices. The Galaxy S26+ receives the deepest discount with €500 off its 512GB model, while the standard S26 sees €165 savings on the 256GB version. All three models follow a pattern of straight discounts for 256GB configurations and combined discount vouchers for 512GB options.

Apple's iPhones are also seeing price reductions, with the iPhone Air 256GB now €40 cheaper at €890. The iPhone 17e receives a €50 discount, though it features only a single rear camera and a 6.1" screen with a notch. Despite its entry-level positioning, the iPhone 17e shares the same A19 chipset and 8GB of RAM as the standard iPhone 17, which was the best-selling phone in Q1.

These price cuts come as Samsung transitions toward Z-foldables in the second half of 2026. The discounts make Samsung's premium lineup more competitive against Apple's established dominance in the market. Consumers now face attractive options across both brands, with the Galaxy S26+ dropping below €1,000 for its 512GB variant.
