Back in August, insiders claimed that Samsung's Exynos 2700 beat Qualcomm's next flagship chips in internal testing. With the Snapdragons now official, Samsung reportedly pitted its upcoming chip against the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and its Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. In Geekbench 6.5 multi-core CPU tests, the Exynos 2700 reportedly scored around 13,000 points, compared to approximately 11,000 for Qualcomm's chip - about 20% higher.

In Geekbench 7.0, the advantage was roughly 15%. Against the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in the Xiaomi 18 Pro, the gap widened to 44% and 36% respectively. GPU tests also favored the Exynos 2700, allegedly delivering about 20% higher peak performance than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 in demanding games using the latest graphics technologies, and about 5% higher baseline performance in regular high-end 3D games.

Samsung's successor to the Exynos 2600, said to be made on its Foundry's second-generation 2nm process (SF2P) with improved Heat Path Block packaging, will power at least some Galaxy S27 series models arriving early next year. As these are internal test results, real-world performance and efficiency in retail units remain to be seen.
