Samsung rolled out the One UI 8.5 update to its Galaxy A15 4G and A24 4G models in South Korea. The firmware, identified as A155NKSU9DZF1 for the A15 and A245NKSU9FZF1 for the A24, ships with the May 2026 Android security patch. Users in the region can grab the update via Settings > Software update.

On the A15, the update weighs about 2.5GB. Samsung’s release follows the earlier 5G variant rollout, underscoring the company’s push to bring the latest UI to budget lines. The firmware upgrade promises smoother navigation and bug fixes that align with the company’s broader Android 13 refresh strategy.

The A24 4G update packs a 2.4GB download. Samsung targets users who rely on 4G connectivity, ensuring they receive the same security and feature parity as higher‑end models. The firmware also includes performance tweaks that were highlighted in the 5G launch, offering a more responsive experience on older hardware.

South Korean users can check for the update manually in Settings > Software update. Samsung plans to expand the rollout to other markets in the coming days, giving global consumers access to the latest UI enhancements and security patches without waiting for a mass release. The update solidifies Samsung’s commitment to keeping mid‑range devices current.
