Qualcomm and Global Health Connector have announced a partnership to found the Personal AI Health Alliance (PAIHA) in Belfast, U.K. The alliance aims to make health data from wearables more meaningful through AI-powered, proactive, and accessible insights. Other partners include Optum Health, Scripps Health, MERCK, Digital Medicine Society, and Biocom.

The PAIHA focuses on three core beliefs: remaining "perceptive" by providing richer health insights through continuous real-world sensing; staying "proximal" by using on-device AI to keep user data private and reduce exposure during transmission; and being "proactive" by delivering timely health insights to improve well-being, reduce costs, and validate drug efficacy.

The alliance has provided proof of concept and aims to make health data more continuous and personal while remaining accessible. Bleddyn Rees of Global Health Connector stated, "Healthcare is data-rich but often insight-poor. The real opportunity lies in turning data into actionable intelligence that improves outcomes for everyone."
