Samsung has pushed the April 2026 security patch to two of its mid‑range phones, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A56. The update arrives as firmware A376BXXS2AZC2 for the A37 and A566BXXSABZD2 for the A56, sealing 47 vulnerabilities. Both devices run Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 6 skin, meaning the fix integrates into the existing UI without a major version bump.

The rollout is currently limited to Europe, where users can manually trigger the download via Settings → Software update. Samsung expects the patch to propagate to Asia and Latin America in the coming days, expanding protection for the A37’s 6 GB RAM/128 GB storage combo and the A56’s 8 GB RAM/256 GB variant.

Retail listings show the A37 128 GB/6 GB model at €429 (£399) and a discounted 256 GB/8 GB version for €385. The A56 starts at €293 (£262) for the base 128 GB/8 GB trim, with a 256 GB/8 GB upgrade priced at €333. These figures place both phones firmly in the sub‑€400 segment.

By delivering a patch that covers dozens of flaws, Samsung reinforces its commitment to keeping lower‑cost devices secure, a pressure point as regulators tighten mobile‑security standards. Consumers who have delayed updates can now restore confidence that their A‑series phones remain protected against known exploits.
