Motorola launched the Moto G Max in India with distinct specs compared to the Brazilian version. The Indian model uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chip, while the Brazilian variant runs on Dimensity 6400 So C. Memory options differ significantly: the Brazilian model offers up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, whereas the Indian version comes in a single 6GB/128GB package. Both run Android 16 out of the box, with the Indian version receiving two OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

The display on the Indian Moto G Max measures 6.72" diagonally and features Gorilla Glass 7i protection, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,050 nits brightness. Its dual-camera setup includes a 50MP primary lens and 8MP ultrawide with 119.5° FOV, unlike the Brazilian model's 200MP primary and 8MP ultrawide. The battery capacity differs substantially: the Indian version has a 7,000 m Ah cell (1,800 m Ah larger than the Brazilian variant).

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP64 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device supports water touch operation. In India, the phone launches in three colors—Pantone Stargazer, Pantone Alaskan Blue, and Pantone Malaga—priced at INR27,999 each, available from August 20 via Motorola's site, Flipkart, and retail stores.
