Samsung has launched its latest wearables, the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9. The Ultra2 is available in a single 47mm size, while the Watch9 comes in 40mm and 44mm options. Both models retain Samsung's distinctive, polarizing designs but focus on internal upgrades.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 features a slimmer profile, improved durability with an IP68/IP69K rating and EN13319 certification for diving up to 40m, and enhanced visibility with a 5000 nits peak brightness display. It boasts a larger 800 mAh battery and a new Snapdragon SW6100 Wear Elite chipset, running Android Wear OS 7 and One UI Watch 9. It also includes advanced health sensors and improved GPS and connectivity.

While external changes are subtle, the Ultra2's build remains premium with a grade 4 titanium frame and sapphire crystal. The Watch9 models are expected to offer similar internal enhancements. Samsung partnered with diving brand Mares for the Ultra2's diving features, including automatic stat tracking and an upcoming dedicated diving app.
