Samsung has launched the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, engineered for extreme outdoor activities and performance. Its shock-resistant titanium casing boasts IP69K and 10 ATM water resistance, allowing for snorkeling and diving up to 100 meters (328 feet). The watch is EN13319 certified for dive compliance and will track real-time diving data, with a dedicated app for more detailed insights coming later this year.

Despite being 12 percent slimmer than its predecessor through re-engineered internal components, the Ultra 2 features an 800mAh battery, an upgrade from the first-gen Ultra's 590mAh. Samsung claims a 60-hour battery life with the Always On Display enabled. The new model is powered by the Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform, promising faster performance and AI capabilities on Wear OS.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is available in a 47mm size with a 1.52-inch Super AMOLED display, 64GB of storage, and 2GB of RAM. Pre-orders are open in the US for $700, with general availability beginning August 7.
