Qualcomm is working on a new chipset with the model number SM4875, and details about it have now been leaked. It is expected to be called Snapdragon 4 Gen 6, मंज़ clearly the successor to the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 unveiled back in May. The new SoC keeps a very similar CPU configuration to its predecessor, using two Kryo Gold cores and six Kryo Silver cores, but the leaked diagram does not show clock speeds.

The Snapdragon 4 Gen 6 upgrades its GPU to the Adreno 6 series, compared to the Adreno 4 series in Gen 5, which should deliver much better graphics performance. It also supports dual‑channel LPDDR5 RAM up to 3,200 MHz on top of the LPDDR4X support of the previous generation, providing faster memory bandwidth.

In terms of connectivity, the chipset will offer four chip options for OEMs to choose from: the WCN3998‑2 (Wi‑Fi 5/Bluetooth 5.2), the WCN3988 (Wi‑Fi 5/Bluetooth 5.1), the WCN6750 (Wi‑Fi 6/Bluetooth 5.2), and the WCN6450 (Wi‑Fi 6/Bluetooth 6.0). It is unclear when this chipset will be unveiled, but it might actually come as late as next year. This leak is considered incredibly early, and we will update as more information emerges. The chipset’s design aims to improve performance while maintaining cost efficiency.
