Motorola pushed back into the foldable arena with the Razr Fold, following Samsung’s earlier book‑style releases. The device now ships across Europe, India, the US and Canada, slotting into a market that still sees few alternatives to Samsung and Google. Its launch price sits around $1,900.

Its exterior hides a 6.6‑inch cover panel, 1080p+ resolution and up to 165Hz. Inside, an 8.1‑inch LTPO display offers 120Hz and a square aspect ratio, while an optional Moto Pen Ultra stylus works on both screens. The camera suite packs three 50‑MP lenses, a periscope, and dual selfie units.

Under the hood, the Razr Fold runs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and packs a 6,000‑mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless fast‑charging. That outpaces Samsung’s 4,400‑mAh and Google’s 5,015‑mAh cells, even though none of the rivals use silicon‑copper batteries that Motorola leverages for higher capacity.

Weight drops to 243g and thickness sits at 10.1mm folded, making it slimmer than Samsung’s 215g/8.9mm counterpart but lighter than Google’s 258g/10.8mm model. With IP48/IP49 protection and a price near €2,000, the Razr Fold offers a premium build that competes directly with Samsung’s Z Fold 7, though it remains far from a budget option.
