Lava has launched the Bold N2 5G in India, expanding its budget smartphone lineup after the 4G variant arrived in February. The phone features a large 6.75-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. A waterdrop notch houses the 5MP front-facing camera, while the side-mounted fingerprint scanner provides convenient security.

Under the hood, the handset runs on a 6nm octa-core Unisoc T8200 SoC paired with Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, plus room for expansion via microSD. The 6,000mAh battery represents a bump from the 4G variant's 5,000mAh cell, supporting 18W fast charging.

Camera specs include a 13MP main shooter in a square module, accompanied by an auxiliary lens and LED flash. The device carries an IP64 rating for durability and ships with Android 16. At 210g and 8.75mm thick, it offers dual SIM support and standard connectivity including Bluetooth 5.0 and USB-C.

Pricing starts at INR 12,999 ($135) when sales begin on June 9 through Amazon India and physical retailers. Available in Billionaire Blue and Regal Gold, this budget 5G entry aims to compete in India's crowded mid-range segment.

The Bold N2 5G positions itself as an affordable upgrade path for users seeking 5G connectivity without premium pricing, though performance remains to be tested against established competitors.
