iQOO 16T: 200MP Camera and Liquid‑Air Cooling

Last month we heard iQOO was studying Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets for the upcoming iQOO 16T. Now a tipster, Smart Pikachu, confirms the phone will sport a 200‑MP primary sensor but will lack a periscope telephoto lens. The device will also feature a combined liquid‑air cooling system to keep the power‑hungry chipset from throttling.

Earlier, Digital Chat Station claimed the 16T was being tested with the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, while MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 was also on the shortlist. The iQOO 15T debuted in May, so a formal launch of the 16T this year seems unlikely. Instead, the brand is expected to roll out the iQOO 16 next month, reportedly powered by Qualcomm’s yet‑to‑be‑announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.

With a 200‑MP sensor and a hybrid cooling solution, the 16T aims to compete with high‑end flagships while maintaining the iQOO brand’s reputation for speed and performance. Sources include GSMArena and Chinese industry reports.
