A new rumor from Digital Chat Station on Weibo reveals display specifications for Apple's upcoming 2027 iPhone lineup. The leak covers three models expected to debut in spring 2027: the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2. These devices will follow the iPhone 18 Pro series launch scheduled for September 2026.

According to the leak, the iPhone 18 features a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 18e uses a 6.12-inch LTPS OLED display at the same resolution but with only 60Hz refresh rate. The iPhone Air 2 gets a larger 6.55-inch LTPO OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Compared to predecessors, the iPhone 18e display is marginally larger than the iPhone 17e, while the iPhone Air 2 gains 0.05 inches over the original iPhone Air. The iPhone 18 maintains the same size as the iPhone 17. Notably, the iPhone 18e won't receive the 120Hz upgrade that many expected for the 'e' series, keeping refresh rates unchanged from current models.

These incremental display improvements suggest Apple is focusing on cost optimization rather than major innovations for its mainstream 2027 lineup. The leaked specs indicate the company will differentiate models primarily through screen technology choices rather than dramatic size or resolution changes.
