Honor 600's RC Car Battery Test Takes on iPhone 17 Pro and Galaxy S26

Honor just launched its 600 series in Europe with a rather bold marketing stunt. The company took its 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and pitted it against the cells from an iPhone 17 Pro (4,252mAh) and Samsung Galaxy S26 (4,300mAh) — but not in a traditional battery life test. Instead, Honor's engineers fitted each battery into a miniature RC car and raced them on a track to see which would outlast the others.

With a much larger capacity, Honor predictably came out on top. The promotional video doesn't shy away from taking shots at its competitors, referring to the iPhone 17 Pro as "The First to Retire" while calling the Galaxy S26 "The Persistent Challenger." Asian units of the Honor 600 ship with the 7,000mAh battery, while European versions get a slightly smaller 6,400mAh cell.

The stunt serves as a vivid demonstration of Honor's key selling point: significantly larger battery capacity than flagship devices from Apple and Samsung. For consumers tired of charging their phones daily, the Honor 600's massive battery could be a compelling alternative to thinner devices with smaller cells.
