Ai+ Launches Nova 2 Series with Budget Foldables

Indian tech brand Ai+ unveiled its Nova 2 series and first foldable phone at a major launch event. The lineup includes the Nova Flip foldable, Nova 2, and Nova 2 Ultra slab phones, targeting different price segments in the Indian market. The Nova Flip appears to be a rebranded Nubia Flip 2 with a 6.9-inch foldable OLED display and MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset.

The Nova Flip runs nxtQ OS based on Android 15 and features a 3-inch cover screen, 50MP main camera, and 4,325mAh battery with 33W charging. It will retail for INR 49,999 ($540) in 8/256GB configuration, available from May. The conventional Nova 2 offers a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with Unisoc T8200 chipset, priced at INR 8,999 ($94) for the 4/64GB model.

The Nova 2 Ultra sits at the premium end with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, Dimensity 7400 chipset, and 50MP Sony IMX752 main camera. It features IP68 protection and starts at INR 16,999 ($184) for the 6/128GB variant. Open sales begin April 14 for Nova 2 and April 17 for Nova 2 Ultra, expanding Ai+'s presence in India's competitive smartphone market.
