Tik Tok has introduced several new features aimed at enhancing user interaction on the platform. First, voice comments are rolling out over the next month to users 18 and older. These audio messages can be up to 60 seconds long and are accessible by tapping to listen.

While the feature may add a fun dimension to comment sections, it could also introduce new forms of disruption. Additionally, creators can now create comment polls with up to five options, allowing them to track responses directly in the comment section. This feature is already available to global users and builds on previous experiments with stickers and live broadcast polls.

In terms of photo updates, Tik Tok now supports live photos from camera rolls—images that include brief motion and sound. The platform is also increasing the number of photos users can post at once in the comment section, allowing up to nine images in a single carousel comment, which will roll out over the next month. These updates follow recent additions like in-app travel booking and a location-based local feed.
