Samsung's New Micro RGB TVs Arrive, Starting at $1,600

Samsung has officially launched its 2026 Micro RGB television lineup, spanning from 55 inches up to 85 inches in 4K resolution. This technology relies on arrays of tiny red, green, and blue LEDs to achieve superior color accuracy and minimize bleed. This launch brings high-end display tech closer to the mainstream consumer market than prior concepts, such as the massive 130-inch display shown at CES.

Driving these sets is a custom AI processor designed to calibrate the picture quality, delivering what Samsung calls “stunningly sharp images.” These displays also incorporate support for HDR10+ Advanced, an updated standard co-developed by the company that promises better brightness and optimization across different content genres. All units include Dolby Atmos audio capabilities.

The product split results in two distinct series: the premium R95H and the more accessible R85H. The R85H line kicks off the pricing at $1,600 for the 55-inch model, while the R95H starts at $3,200 for a 65-inch screen. Both lines support Q-Symphony sound pairing and offer access to the Art Store for ambient display when not actively viewing content.

For performance enthusiasts, the R95H boasts a 165Hz refresh rate and anti-glare tech, whereas the R85H maxes out at 144Hz. Consumers can purchase these TVs immediately from Samsung direct and major retailers like Best Buy, making this new display architecture available now.
