CES 2026 has delivered major TV advancements from industry giants Samsung, LG, and TCL, signaling a fierce battle over display technologies. Samsung unveiled its Micro RGB lineup, featuring a massive 130-inch concept and consumer models ranging from 55 to 100 inches. This technology uses microscopic red, green, and blue LEDs for superior color accuracy, powered by the new Micro RGB AI Engine Pro.

LG countered with its own Micro RGB evo series and a stunningly thin 9mm OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV that uses a wireless Zero Connect Box. LG's OLED lineup also received updates, including the C6 series with new Primary RGB Tandem panels for higher brightness. Meanwhile, TCL is pushing Mini LED boundaries with the X11L SQD-Mini LED TV, boasting a staggering 10,000 nits of peak brightness and 20,000 dimming zones.

These announcements highlight an industry-wide shift toward AI-driven processing and higher brightness across both OLED and LCD-based technologies, offering consumers more choices for high-end home theater setups.
