Samsung Galaxy S26 FE vs S25 FE: Price and Specs Compared

Samsung introduced the Galaxy S26 FE at its Unpacked August 2026 event, following last year's Galaxy S25 FE. The new model costs $699, which is $50 more than the S25 FE's starting price of $649. This price increase likely stems from a RAM supply crisis affecting the tech industry.

Both phones share the same 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The key difference lies in the processor: the S26 FE uses the Exynos 2500 (3nm), while the S25 FE has the Exynos 2400 (4nm). Benchmarks suggest the newer chip offers better gaming performance and slightly improved battery efficiency.

Storage options remain 128GB and 256GB, both with 8GB of RAM. The battery capacity is identical at 4,900mAh, supporting 45W wired charging. However, a 30-minute charge gets the S26 FE to 69% battery, compared to 65% on the S25 FE.

Camera specs are unchanged: a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP front camera. The S26 FE introduces new AI features like My Fan Cam and Horizontal Lock, which require advanced neural processing and won't come to the S25 FE. Other features like Now Brief and Circle to Search may arrive via an OS update to Android 17 and One UI 9.
