Samsung's Galaxy S26 FE launches September 3 starting at $700, serving as a more affordable alternative to the S26+. Sam Rutherford of Engadget reports the device features a 6.7-inch OLED 120Hz display and a triple-lens rear camera system headlined by a 50MP ultra-wide shooter. Powering the handset is Samsung's in-house Exynos 2500 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. The device is equipped with a 4,900mAh battery supporting 45-watt wired and 15-watt wireless charging, alongside seven years of promised software support.

While the S26 FE retains the premium aesthetic of the S26 line with an aluminum frame, it utilizes a polycarbonate rear panel. Notably, the 8GB of RAM represents a downgrade compared to the 12GB found in other S26 models. Samsung has also integrated several software features from the core S26 family, including AI-powered Photo Assist and Now Nudge. However, with used S26+ models available around the $700 price point, the FE faces stiff competition in the budget flagship segment.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will be available in three color options: pistachio, blueberry, and graphite.
