Comedy fans can rejoice as the cult hit "Nirvanna the Band the Show" and its accompanying film will be available to stream on Hulu starting July 24. Both seasons of the 2017 series, which follows two Toronto musicians attempting to book a gig at The Rivoli, will be added to the platform. This marks the first time the show has been streamable in several years, a notable absence especially after the recent film introduced the property to new audiences.

The film, "Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie," shares the same core plot but elevates it with a high-concept approach. Viewers can reportedly watch the content in any order without confusion, similar to how one might approach watching "Looney Tunes" cartoons. The series draws inspiration from shows like "Flight of the Conchords" and "Nathan for You."

Both the series and the movie star Matt Johnson and Jay McCarrol. Johnson, who also wrote and directed the film, is recognized for his work on the "Black Berry" film and is currently developing an Anthony Bourdain biopic.
