Mattel has announced a new 1:1-scale building brick set recreating the original Xbox console. The $330 set includes 3,509 pieces and three interactive game-inspired dioramas referencing *Halo: Combat Evolved*, *The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind*, and *Psychonauts*. Each module features removable figurines and can be displayed separately.

A chunky controller included with the set triggers lighting effects on the dioramas when buttons are pressed, along with audio from each game's soundtrack. Hidden button combinations unlock an exclusive lighting sequence, adding to the interactive experience.

Pre-orders are now available through Amazon, Best Buy, and Mattel Creations. While the price point of $330 exceeds the cost of both the original Xbox and the Xbox Series S at launch, the brick set may avoid recent price hikes due to global component shortages.

This release follows other retro console collaborations, such as Lego's versions of the NES and Atari 2600, but marks Mattel's entry into the nostalgic gaming collectibles market.
