The device uses Hololuminescent Display technology to show 3D holograms viewable without glasses or eye-tracking. Unlike previous models like the $300 Looking Glass Go from 2023, Musubi stores up to 1,000 images or 30-second video clips. The frame runs for three hours on a single charge or indefinitely when plugged in. Users must convert their media using Looking Glass' free desktop app before transferring files via USB-C, but the process appears straightforward for consumers.

Early Kickstarter backers can snag the Musubi for $99 during the first 24 hours of the campaign.
