Zondision rolls out the ZIMO1, a 27‑inch glasses‑free light‑field display aimed at both creators and consumers. The unit toggles between native 2D and stereoscopic 3D while preserving true 4K resolution, thanks to proprietary switchable cell technology. Kickstarter launches on April 21, with backer tiers ranging from $999 to $1,399.

The screen achieves crosstalk below 1.5%, reducing ghosting and eye fatigue during prolonged sessions. A 120 Hz dual‑eye tracking system drives ultra‑responsive gestures, supporting styluses, controllers and gloves, while an ASIC‑based 3D rendering chip offloads work from the host GPU. Open SDK integration covers Unreal, Unity, WebXR and C++.

Beyond gaming, Zondision pitches the ZIMO1 as a productivity hub, bundling a game manager, support for over 10,000 3D titles and multiple stereoscopic media formats. With more than 150 patents and OpenXR/OpenVR compatibility, the platform promises developers a low‑cost entry to true glasses‑free 3D, positioning it as the first consumer‑grade solution of its kind.

CEO Kevin Tung emphasized affordable access, noting the bundle includes classic‑game conversions for large‑screen 3D play. While the Kickstarter price undercuts the projected MSRP of $1,999, backers should weigh typical crowdfunding risk. If funded, ZIMO1 could redefine entry‑level 3D workstations and home entertainment rigs.
