Look Outside's April Fools' Day kiss fest is now a permanent feature. Developer Francis Coulombe confirmed players can access 'smooch mode' indefinitely. If you kissed the wounded neighbor during the April 1 update, that save file retains the smooch option.

New players can activate it by renaming Sam 'Casanova' before starting a game. This allows players to kiss numerous NPCs, including the Rat King, Pierre, and even the bandage-eating basement bug, though not every enemy is kissable. Coulombe announced this permanent mode on social media, stating it's 'the game that keeps on giving.' The game also hints at a real, non-silly update coming soon, exciting fans.
